This project posits a new approach to the classical genre in art which a portrait is. The characteristic form and a different approach toward video and installation is an intriguing factor in this work. “Thousand” is a tale about people, their stories, the environment in which they live, spend their time, work, and simply are. Being inspired by maps and using isoheights (lines that link points of the same height above the sea level) I created out lines of surfaces representing people. Each surface is a different story, another clip exemplifying a place and entity. By stories that grow on one another and overlap each other, I wanted to construct a spatial portrait.

Work "Thousand" was shown during the "Audiovisual Media Exhibition" curated by Anda Rottenberg in Branicki Palace in Warsaw.
